Dinner At Jimmy B's Beach Bar - St Pete Beach

Dinner At Jimmy B's Beach Bar

Relaxing with the Florida beach lifestyle with dinner at Jimmy B's Beach Bar last Friday night.

Dinner at Jimmy B's Beach Bar on St Pete Beach, last Friday night was full of fun. Great food, good music, dynamite Florida beach sunset. This is the life!

It really doesn't get much better than sitting out on a patio deck, smelling the clean salt air, feeling the stirrings of a breeze at sunset, and sipping on a Coors Light with a beautiful woman.

Dinner at Jimmy B's Beach Bar is about as casual as you can get. The younger crowd could be a bit more dressy, but people in the 45-65 year age group are usually just stopping off before they continue on to a night of dancing, or listening to soft music in one of the lounges along Gulf Blvd.

Most men wear Dockers and Hawaiian shirts, while women come in nice slacks or short black dresses.

For the 22-30 crowd, they are usually identifiable by baseball caps, cargo shorts, and a t-shirt.

Dinner At Jimmy B's Beach Bar - The Set Up

Jimmy B's is connected to the Beachcomber Resort Hotel at 6200 Gulf Blvd. on St Pete Beach 33706.

On their website, management says, "This is the Mecca for surf, sand, sun and fun. There’s no need to search any further. We are where everyone wants to be….here at Jimmy B’s."

There are actually three seating areas at Jimmy B's: an inside area (where most of the young crowd hangs out so they can support the classic rock bands that play there) the main outside deck, and a smaller, elevated deck with its own bar area.

We love being outdoors, so we always choose the main deck. It gives us a view of the outdoors band (that plays until 8:00pm), a bit of the beach, and the hint of a sunset.

Jimmy B's is part of the infamous "Miracle Mile" St Pete Beach bars scene, but for us, it offers a relaxed place where we can talk quietly and enjoy the blessings of living on the Florida beach. Laid back experiences are what the Florida Gulf Coast is all about.

We split the Pulled Pork Sandwich with seasoned fries. It filled us up...at a very cheap price.
